FINDING財神娛樂 Alice viewers have been left ‘laughing and crying at the same time’ by its confusing twist – and they all have one question.
The ITV drama follows the titular Alice (Keeley Hawes) as she struggles to come to terms with the sudden death of her beloved husband, Harry.
Making matters worse, as she continues to settle into her new home, Alice uncovers an unsettling secret Harry had desperately tried to hide.
His dark trail of debt, suspicion and criminality leaves her blindsided.
While the plot brings plenty of drama to the screen and deals with the subject of grief, there are moments in the script that bring some light relief and laughter for viewers.
However, the fact that they are crying at Alice’s grieving and despair one minute, then laughing at thin娛樂城註冊送體驗金gs l財神捕魚ike her being unable to find her own fridge in the new smart house Harry had built for the family has left many viewers confused.
Taking to Twitter, many questioned what genre the show was supposed to be, with one writing: “Can’t make out if this is a drama or a comedy? I’m confused #FindingAlice.”
Another added: “Anybody else confused watching #FindingAlice?? Can’t work out if they’ve tried to make it a comedy or what.”
A third agreed, writing: “”Finding Alice is just plain odd, seemingly flip-flopping between gallows humour and serious drama.”
Others were delighted the series wasn’t all doom and gloom, with one writing: “#FindingAlice is such a gem! So sad and emotional but layered with sarcasm and humour which makes it less heavy but still profound.”
